What is the minimum size for production?

Tropical Bottling (TBC) has a general minimum production size of 2,000 cases (24 pack cans or 48,000 units per flavor) per day. However we can also provide trial/pilot run services based on daily rate for the facility for smaller case quantities.

Where can I get cans and labels for the production run?

Tropical Bottling can provide cans and labels for the production of your product. We can also work with other can and label providers to deliver the quantity of units that your production requires at the most efficient cost possible.

How many cans are in a case?

Currently TBC can deliver your product in 12 or 24 package configurations.

What is the minimum size of batch needed for production?

TBC requires a minimum of 1,000 gallons of finished (ready-to-drink) product for each production run. In some cases clients will request fewer finished cases than the production batch would normally yield, this is typically treated as unused concentrate and flushed from the production system.

Where do I get my brands and flavors developed?

TBC works with several flavor houses that can work with you in the development of your brands and flavors.

Can you store our product prior to shipping?

TBC has a warehouse facility for storage of your product prior to shipment, we can also provide a proposal for longer term storage and handling.

What can sizes do you produce?

TBC can produce a variety of can sizes in regular and sleek formats from 7.4 ounce to 16 ounces.

What’s the lead time for getting my product produced?

TBC can usually produce your product within 2 weeks of receiving all the necessary raw materials and packaging. The timeline is typically most impacted by lead-time for concentrate, labels and cans.

What are your filling processes?

We currently have cold and hot fill capabilities in all can formats as well as hot and cold pasteurization.

Do you help in the development of beverage formulas?

Yes, TBC can either help bring your vision to life or look to lower your existing concentrate cost though our partners. TBC works with several highly skilled concentrate/flavor companies to help you develop your beverage formulas.

What quality tests do you do prior to production?

TBC has a full time Quality Assurance Manager and a quality lab on site to assure that your product quality is of the highest standard and that all quality specifications are met.

Can I observe my product being produced?

While there are some limits for safety reasons,TBC encourages our customers' participation during the initial production run to understand the process to ensure that all customer expectation are met and exceeded.
